Here I am, finally...

I was just beginning to live a very creative, art filled life when suddenly, out of nowhere, made a decision to take a short detour. That detour ended up being almost a decade. I gave up art during that entire time to pursue a career in health care, which I have been working ever since. I believe the path I took was a way to avoid being afraid, afraid of being vulnerable to the creative process, exposing my work to the world and its' criticism, to my own condemnation. I am still afraid, yet I cannot and will not allow art to pass me by any longer. This blog is my way of not letting it. I want my artist's life back.
